We are convinced that PhD candidates and postdocs play an outstanding role in overcoming the diverse challenges of today's world. This requires scientists who are prepared in the best possible way by strengthening their skills, even beyond research, and by networking.
This is what we work towards as the Potsdam Graduate School (PoGS) team at the University of Potsdam. In line with our motto "Support. Train. Connect. we support PhD candidates, postdocs, junior professors, and tenure-track professors as a competence and advisory center through financial support, target group-specific training, and advisory and networking services for careers in and outside of academia.
Who are we looking for?
We support students, researchers, employees, and alumni from all disciplines who are interested in start-ups, innovation, entrepreneurship, transfer projects, or trade fair appearances in further developing their ideas and implementing them successfully.
Our working environment
Our team of experienced advisors and scouts provides you with personal support at all three locations of the University of Potsdam. In an open, cooperative working environment, we provide you with individual support for start-up, innovation, and transfer projects.

Facts & Contact
The Potsdam Graduate School (PoGS) was founded in the fall of 2006 as part of the restructuring of doctoral education at the University of Potsdam.
The PoGS team currently consists of 13 persons.
