HPI d–school
The HPI d-school is part of the Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Engineering at the University of Potsdam and one of the leading institutions for design thinking in Europe. Since 2007, we have been training students to solve complex problems in a user-centered, creative, and interdisciplinary way. You can complete our practice-oriented programs alongside your studies and develop key future skills such as teamwork, innovation methods, and entrepreneurial thinking. Since our founding, we have worked with over 400 organizations from a wide range of industries to jointly develop products, services, business models, and strategies.
Who are we looking for?
We welcome students from all disciplines and qualification levels (bachelor's, master's, PhD) who are interested in innovation, teamwork, and new ways of working. It is important to be open-minded, curious, and willing to work with people from different disciplines to solve complex challenges together.

We offer study-related programs as additional qualifications that enable students to further develop their professional skills and strengthen competencies such as problem solving, teamwork, resilience, and innovation. Our working environment
Die d-school ist international vertreten – mit Standorten in den USA, Afrika und am Hasso-Plattner-Institut in Potsdam. Gemeinsam mit Studierenden aus unterschiedlichen Fachrichtungen und Ländern arbeitest du an realen Fragestellungen von Projektpartnern wie Start-ups, NGOs oder Unternehmen. Dabei wirst du von erfahrenen Coaches begleitet, die dich durch den Prozess führen – ohne klassische Vorlesungen oder Prüfungen, dafür mit viel Raum zum Ausprobieren.
